A services consulting organisation in banking require a Technical Analyst working in the Host-to-Host, File Mapping, File Formats and/or Payments Execution System Space

Main Output: Delivery of Use Cases, Functional Designs and/or Function Requirements Specifications according to the defined project schedule at the right quality level

Mandatory Requirements:

• Banking industry experience

• Skilled in Functional Requirement, Technical Integration and Mapping documentation

• Understanding of requirements and traceability

• Skilled in process modeling, i.e. activity diagrams, user interface, etc.

• Ability to work in a demanding and high-pressure environment

Required Level: Intermediate to Senior

Advantageous Skills/Experience:

• Host to Host Integration and Connectivity Knowledge (i.e. Connect Direct, SWIFT FIN/FileAct, SFTP, MQ, etc.)

• Extensive experience with mapping of different data entities between different systems

• Understanding and experience of industry standard formats (i.e. SWIFT / ISO20022 / EDIFACT / SAP IDOCS)

• Ability to understand how industry standard payment/collection/audits and statement files are structured

• The ability to embrace and understand new file formats and customer proprietary file formats with ease

• Integration between systems to implement a solution

• A passion for analysis in technical solutions and design

• A proven track record of designing and implementing technical solutions

• Experience with understanding and designing specific data elements, and how these are categorised within specific files

• Have a good understanding and experience with different payment and collection models supported by the Bank, as well as the structures of proprietary files

• Have a good understanding and experience with customer integration into the bank systems, as well as integration between different banking systems
