A minimum of 5 years IT experience and 2 years development experience.Three-year relevant Degree/ Diploma advantage
Relevant Certification would be beneficial

You will need the following skills:
Understanding extraction process
Use pf Oracle Pure Extract, Oracle Warehouse, Builder Tools, Java and SAS experience
Understanding COBOL, JCL, midrange and the mainframe
Ability to assimilate information rapidly
Monitoring activity on the Data Warehouse.

You will be required to extract data from system of record, ensuring all associated transformations to the extracted data are done, and loaded to the data warehouse.

You duties will include the following:
Work closely with Data Acquisition developers
Identify and synchronize required data
Identify, define and establish technical environment
Monitor and schedule production data extraction processes
Identify data quality issues to Data Warehouse project team
Enhance data extraction processes as required
Identify opportunities to optimize the environment
Develop and implement data distribution scripts
Ensure implementation and adherence to validation processes to ensure all data was moved correctly
Ensuring successful completion of extraction and transformation programs.
Maintenance and tuning of extraction processes running in Production
Data warehouse maintenance processes and procedures
Improving availability of data warehouse environment
Monitoring of ongoing activity against and within the data warehouse (Environment setup by ETL)
Establish metadata regarding operations.
Ensure the integrity, logs and traceability of data for audit purposes.
