Pretoria
Purpose:
To perform networks and infrastructure security maintenance requirements of the National Treasury Divisions in order to efficiently implement and maintain the application systems required.

Key outputs: Resolve incidents and problems related to responsibility in line with SLAs
Perform maintenance and record and report any anomalies
Maintain the ICT knowledgebase with identified problem and relevant solution
Monitor ICT infrastructure/networks and service continuously and report deficiencies on capacity, availability, integrity/security and continuity
Implement change requests and update security configuration baselines
Collaborate with business to identify requirements
Develop ICT technical and functional specifications for implementation
Assist with the implementation, security and operationalisation of ICT systems
Administer, update patch management process and deployment (application and system patches), in accordance with related deployment and approved recommended update schedules
Support Operational Control processes (audits, risks, DR, BCM, process improvements, performance management and business management), supply requested information and implement corrective actions as applicable.
Requirements:
Degree/National Diploma in Information Technology
At least 2 years relevant experience
Certifications related to specialisation eg Microsoft Certification, CCISP would be an added advantage
Knowledge of the following equipment and systems is required: Network infrastructure and tools (CISCO), Security (Checkpoint, Symantec Antivirus, SOPHOOS Safeguard), Microsoft applications (AD, Exchange, F&P Services, SharePoint, SCOMS, SCCM, Desktop OS, Server OS and SQL), Storage Infrastructure (SAN, DAS, and NAS), Backup and Archiving (CommVault), Virtualisation (VMWare and Hyper-V), Database (SQL, TSQL, Report Services, SSIS).
