Role details:

To assist with the Record to Report (R2R) processes ensuring all processes are runningefficiently and timeously for month end reporting. Provide assistance on projects as directed
by the Finance Management Team.
Key Performance Areas:
1. Record to Report (R2R)
· Assisting the R2R Process between Retained Organization and Infosys on a daily
basis
· Maintain Fixed Assets register, co-ordinate fixed asset verifications
· Compile monthly VAT return schedules
· Detailed review of I/S accounts to identify misallocations or capital expenditure
· Review Balance Sheet reconciliations
· Processing Month end journals
· Assist with preparation of tax pack
· Confirm new vendors on SAP and create new vendors on Banking profile
· Creating EFT payments
· Reviewing cashbook reconciliations for month end closing
· Ensure OEMS tickets for cashbook clearing and general ledger postings are uploaded
to SAP
· Act as a coordinator between the Retained organization and Infosys
· Assisting broader business- Purchase foreign currency for travelers
2. Compliance
· Providing assistance for CSAT (Coordinates the Controls self-assessment for South
Africa)
· Focal point of contact for internal audit/external audit
3. General Finance
· Assist the finance manager and other members of the Finance function as required.
· Provide detailed support to the broader business as required
· Compliance to ISO 9001/14001 quality/ environmental management systems & corporate
Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) management system
Qualifications, Experience:
· University degree/Diploma in Finance or Accounting
· Minimum of 2-3 years' experience
· Good analytical skills and able to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Self-starter with the ability to think on their feet.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with diverse cultures
· Excellent knowledge of the local language, both written and spoken. English is a must
· Knowledge of SAP and experience with MS Office
