To Provide IT support servicesto customers within the Sandton region. The current position is to provide an on premises support toour customers with one main customer in the morning half day and then visiting a variety ofcustomers thereafter as instructed by Director/Head of technical/Service Desk Team Leader.Knowledge & Experience:
A+ & N+ with at least 3 years solid experience in domain based systems
Clearunderstanding of office 2010/2013 installation/support/maintenance is required for both Windows& Mac
MAC qualification and experience of more than a year is required
Astrong understanding of Microsoft server systems is required for solid first level support tocustomers systems (MCSE/MCITP qualification a major benefit)
Understanding of windowsshares and mounting of drives (2 + years’ experience)
Experience with working onChase systems (6 + months experience)
Experience with installing and setting up pastelsoftware (6+ months experience)
Understanding how to troubleshoot mail issues (2 +years’ experience)
Be able to build bare metal computer systems (3 + years’experience)
Strong understanding of DNS/DHCP
Strong fundamentals of networking isrequired
Telnet & SSH command line experience
Connecting to FTP servers
Understanding of WAN/LAN environments (high level)
Able to troubleshoot ADSL faultswith customer/ISP/Telkom
Experience with Kaseya or similar RMM
Capable ofinstalling, supporting, maintaining printers and scanners
Helpdesk knowledge &experience dealing with customers and understanding how to deliver clear and effective IT supportservices
Able to do windows system restores for customers workstations
Able toarchive customers mail boxes
Own transport, must be willing to travel in vehicle to clientsites, will be remunerated at R2.5/KM
- Be able to workovertime and standby when required
