My client bases in the Johannesburg North area is looking for a Data base Analyst with report analyst/ Writing skills and software support experience for a large corporate company. Linux and posgreSql are pre-requisite.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3+ years working experience with SQL

MS-SQL or plSQL experience is required (Postgres, Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQL Server)

Candidates must have experience on database(s) other than MS-SQL

Experience with Excel

The candidate should be able to/have:

Generate SQL queries

Generate stored procedures

Transaction processing

Data importing

Data validations and manipulations

Database structure normalization knowledge

Export/Import data from a database

Query planning and performance knowledge

Knowledge of data types

Data manipulation and comparison

Knowledge of Trigger and Database constraints

Report writing skills
