Our client in Stellenbosch is looking to employ a Data Architect to take control of the data flow, new data structure etc. Need to design Solution Architecture and know how to place data.

Responsible for a producing a comprehensive technical specification that offers a technical viable solution and address the business requirements
Design and provide guidelines to facilitate projects within the Innovation Team
Continuous business and industry research to guide the critical evaluation of architectural and design patterns & principles.
Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of Innovation applications
• Quality assurance of the Innovation team
• Research and continuous improvement

Qualifications and experience:

• Grade 12
• A relevant 3 year degree / diploma in IT or relevant experience
• Ideal: Post-graduate degree / diploma; Machine Learning Techniques
• At least 7 years’ experience in systems architecture / design
• Basic project management experience
• Experience working with Cloud Platforms --NB
• Exposure with Technologies such as SQL Server, Elastic DB, Mango, Hadoop/Mapproduce, etc.
