Our Fintech client is on the lookout for a Java Middleware / Integration Developer. They are a medium sized environment that works with the insurance industry. This is a chance to work on systems and ensure that best practices and governance is adhered to in current and future environments.

The role requires you to understand the concept of integration of web-based services and practical use of APIs, REST and SOAP services. You’ll be building and maintaining application platforms and facilitating the automation of deployment workflows and processes. At this rate though, you need to have at least 5 years of experience.

Requirements:
• IT qualification
• 3 to 5 Years National Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• At least 5 years’ experience
• Understand the concept of integration of web-based services and practical use of APIs, REST and SOAP services.
• Build, manage and maintain application platforms and ensure that best practices and governance is adhered to in current and future environments.
• Facilitate the automation of deployment workflows and processes
