To provide corebanking system maintenance & support services through gathering user requirements from businessprocess owners. To provide SAP banking training to process owners and power users. To guide, supportand mentor the more junior team members.KeyPerformanceAreas               

Application Support, Maintenance and Changes to Businesssolutions and processes

Gathering SAP systems requirements and developing,designing and delivering the SAP systems process recommendations required to support the variousBusiness Units.

Develop and review business cases, functional specifications, blueprints, and all other associated documentation.

Actively assist Business Units tocraft business cases for sponsor approval

Meet service level and quality standardsassigned

Comply with IT governance standards and procedures.

Analyze and apply required configuration changes or development to fulfil change requests.

Testing of configuration changes in Development (DEV) and send to Quality Assurance(QA) for final sign off and transport to production (PRD)

Complete all changecontrol administration and facilitate implementation of changes to Production

Establish and maintain regular meetings with different User Group representatives (management) toproactively encourage process and system improvements in line with the strategic objectives of theBank.


Documentation Management

Review and update blueprintdocuments on periodic basis.

Maintain process designs (in Visio or any requiredmodelling tool), ABAP functional specifications, Training manuals and Test packs to ensure allchanges are reflected in all relevant documentation.

Ensure accurate maintenanceof all technical configuration documentation.

Central storage of all applicationdocumentation.


 

Provide functional end user support for allocatedapplication.

Receive a call logged via Help Desk for 2nd line support.

Prioritize response in terms of the levels of severity.

Attend to the uservia phone or alternatively in person if required to resolve the problem.

Close thecall if the problem is solved and update the call logging applications accordingly.

Escalate any unsolved problems to team lead or line manager.


 
Role Based Training (Departmental / rolespecific)

Develop and maintain Role Based Training documentationfor all business roles

Provide training courses, facilitators (SMES) andfacilities for IT Role Based Training throughout the year in line with Human Capital Learning andDevelopment standards and processes

Facilitate and deliver role based training


Preferred MinimumEducation and Experience

Bachelor's degree (IT)

SAP Banking or FI Certification

ITIL certification

5-8 yearsExtensive experience in working within business solution teams performing IT application developmentand maintenance functions (planning, design, development, testing and implementation) in an ERPenvironment

Practical experience implementing new and supporting a SAP Banking andFinance solution (processes and applications).
