Well established company providing support to multiple internal Clients with HO based in DurbanYou will be required to evaluate all existing database/data warehouse structures across the Enterprise and constructively provide a review on efficiency of design etc. You will be required at a hands-on level to complete both database development and administrative tasks along with general data management within a predominantly Microsoft SQL environment.

Degree in Comp Sc. or similar field
Minimum of 10 years’ experience technically working on databases and data warehouses
Proven ability working with large volumes of data in a complex environment.

Solid knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts as per Global best practices and standards
Solid experience with full MS Stack, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS
Capacity Planning
Optimisation and Performance tuning, Normalisation
Advanced SQL
Data Modelling
Managing, mentoring and leading teams at a technical level
Ability to discuss and present findings to executives on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal solutions
Excellent verbal and written skills
