They are looking for someone who will be involved in their mission to deliver world class technology solutions to investment advisors and their clients. They use Scala for development and a hybrid of Kanban and Extreme Programming. Their deployments are fully automated and are driven by their strong DevOps culture. The fact that they are a Fintech company and listed on the New York Stock Exchange is enough to show just how clued up they are.

Requirements:

• BSc. in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years hands on experience within a software engineering environment
• Agile
• Scala, Java, Erlang, Haskell, Mongo DB and Redis
• Cloud AWS, Akka, Play, Chef and Functional Programming

Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement and deliver features on the product roadmap to increase product adoption
• Communicating with various project stakeholders to clarify and contribute to feature requirements
• Deliver and maintain high quality software
• Promote, apply and improve agile software development practices
• Contribute to building a highly effective team
