Reporting to the Senior Engineer: NOC, the incumbent will be required to:
• Configuration and provisioning of SA Connect services.
• End-to-end testing of services together with ANP and O&M technicians.
• SA Connect Systems integration into existing network – integration of various network management systems such as TNMS, EMS, Open Source and commercial OSS.
• Ensuring that SA Connect services are configured, provisioned and tested in accordance to Services Delivery processes and procedures.
• Reporting of key systems performance indicators such as latency, quality of service (QoS) for SA Connect operational services
• Generate SA Connect systems availability reports for services, routers, switches and servers.
• Configure and secure network devices to prevent them from cyber security threats that can pose threat to national security.
• Network Disaster recovery management

Qualification, Skills And Experience
• The candidate must possess a minimum of B.Tech in Electrical or Computer Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Telecommunications Network operations and implementation.
• In depth knowledge and understanding of SDH, DWDM, OTN, IP technologies and related Network Management systems (NMS).
• Attention to detail, initiative, Adaptability, high stress tolerance and team work.
