Role details:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or a related discipline (NQF Level 6).
• ITIL /COBIT certifications will be an advantage
• 7+ years of IT industry experience with 4+ years of experience working in Service management and or IT operations
• Proven and demonstrated prior experience with many of the following: Escalation management , Engagement models , strategy execution , SLA management, budget planning, financial management and resource management
• Strong Technical knowledge with experience on managing cross functional systems.

• To lead the Bank’s Business Service Management and Partnering with SAPO IT.
• To link business and Postbank Technology to ensure that the customer is managed. Provide independent assurance on predefined strategic projects/programmes delivery in line with stated business goals, and mitigate operational risks.
• Manage all business engagement for both change and run the bank for Postbank.
• This involves identifying potential strategic IT programmes and providing assurance that initiated IT projects and programmes deliver solutions that are aligned with the future vision.
• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Change and Technology systems, services and infrastructure for the business.
• Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of Change and Technology services to the business unit and is the leading authority to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of such services including driving down costs, negotiating SLAs, and advising the Business on the most efficient way to use the infrastructure.
• Drive efficiency and transformation across all service delivery within agreed Service Level Agreements
• Ensure the effective and efficient management and control of functions/resources in accordance with the stipulations of the Public Financial Management Act, fraud prevention and risk management principles, legislation, company policies, processes, regulations.
• Manage performance of direct reportees ensuring agreement of annual goals, measuring performance against agreed goals and dealing with non-performance accordingly
• Talent management of direct reports, including career development and paths for all staff
