Prestigious financial institution based in Pretoria is looking for aProject Manager to join their dynamic team on a 6 months crenewable ontract. A full-time technicallyqualified and experienced Project Manager will be required for the duration of the project. The rolewill amongst others include Data Centre UpgradeJOB REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of a
Degree / Diploma in a relevant field
Five to ten years’ experiencein Project / Programme Management
Must have Data Centre migration certificate
Professional Project Management Certification
A thoroughunderstanding of the nine knowledge areas contained in the Guide to Project Management Book ofKnowledge (PMBOK) and / or Prince II
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
Practical hands on experience in managing data centre upgrade project
Practical hands on experience in developing a detailed migration plan
Managingthe programme from initiation, planning, execution through to close-out
Creatingstrategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
Assist with thedevelopment of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFP) for externalservices
Maintenance of project documentation
Project reportingto various committees consisting of senior executives
Project CostManagement
