Reports to: Senior Manager GBS System Integrity
Purpose of this role:
Ensure SAP ERP system working at optimal performance levels including integration of modules, data integrity and also including projects and business cases to improve and develop system workflows and processes for the Group Business Services SAP environment to provide top quality service delivery to the Bank combined with review and management of legacy systems to align to the Bank's strategy of reducing exposure to multiple systems across the various platforms
Outputs (deliverables):
·Building and reviewing an end to end system integrity matrix for Risk management and audit purposes
·Review of system impact, workflow and data integration for legislative, compliance financial and non-finance projects and business cases
·Decommissioning of legacy systems such as People Trax and Open series with full review of workflows, dependencies and system integration challenges
·Manage and reconcile GL feeds from AB initio and understand the rule engine and the impact of changes on the environment
·NTE balancing, review of workflow from product systems and SAP as well as data integrity
·Review of all other systems outside of SAP including maintenance of matrix of system owners and dependencies. On-going reviews of systems, requirements and possible SAP integration or decommissioning of system in line with Bank's Strategy as well as review dependencies on the system to be decommissioned
·Compile a Standard Operations Procedure Document for the SAP processes managed by Head of GL development
·Review and implementation of Sub ledger process including validation reports and on-going reconciliation between Cognos and the packs
·Review of integration between Ariba, PI and SAP to ensure validation and workflow is correct. Daily updates to Sap to feed from Ariba. Enhancements to workflow required
·Project systems and Asset Accounting Taxation ledger Accounts Payable workflows
·SAP BW integrity including transactions consolidation reviews and balancing
·Real Estate review of functionality with strategy to replace relevant Property systems
·Vat integrity including review of melting pot assignments to the relevant structure
·HCM involvement in Phase 2 integration and on-going system integrity
·Full understanding and on-going review of workflows and system integrity for MVS, waste and product system feeds including the ATM channels and the pricing engine
·Review of account roll up to facilitate operation, financial and consolidated structures to allow for the build of BPC
·Tax ledger, IFRS ledger etc. review of accounts used for each ledger to ensure relevance and data integrity
·AB Initio understanding and review of workflow
·Revaluation process as well as average balance ntegrity
·On-going meetings with relevant Clusters and business areas to review systems, issues, challenges and solutions including innovation and enhancements to improve data integrity
·BPC project involvement including cleaning up of lower level GL data, workflows and mapping to accommodate implementation
Essential Education / Degree:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree In Finance or BSC degree in Computer Science
Experience:
Five (5) years of Business analyst experience with Financial Systems or Financial management with system implementation
Business Experience (End User) on SAP
Total Exposure to SAP (Using + Support + Projects)
Functional SAP Exposure in Finance, Procurement and HCM would be an advantage
Extensive experience on other large SAP deployment programmes.
