Roles andResponsibilitiesProvide general IT support to all users based at theROC
Provide remote end-user support using remote desktop and other remote controltools.
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors
Resolve connectivity issues atthe ROC
Setup and configure desktop PC’s to the network
Install applicationprograms requested by the user
Provide laptop support
Re-imaging of desktopcomputers as required
Basic printer troubleshooting and support
Problemdetermination and resolution
Liaise with engineers regarding PC, printer and peripheralrepairs and call-outs
Switch\Hub maintenance and management at the ROC
Move ITequipment at the ROC
SkillsRequirements
Deep skills and experience in desktop support of MicrosoftOperating Systems (Windows) and Microsoft applications (Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer,
Remote end-user support skills
Troubleshooting and problem solving technicalissues
Knowledge of HP/Cisco switches and routers
Technical Skills requirements
Understanding of different network
Networking connectivity andmanagement skills
Good knowledge of hardware andsoftware support and installation
Knowledge ofSymantec Endpoint Protection edition (installing, updating definitions files)
Good knowledge of Microsoft System center’s remote control/assistanceand other Remote Desktop tools for remote support
Must have a Valid Driver’s license
