Role details:
Administer the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the software application systems which support core applications for the Centre.

Administration and configuration of Business Applications
Analyse and resolve problems users encounter on Business Solutions
Analyse and develop programs and reports for users on business systems
Develop programs and reports for auditing data or rectifying data e.g. electronic changing of existing data.
Support projects, which relate to the improvement of business processes and changes in business practice as required
Maintain the business system in an optimum operating condition
Act as a consultant to the business in the best use of the systems through following standard recommended business practice principles
Co-ordinate and manage the activities of external consultants
Support business systems in the different IT environments e.g. (Production, staging, testing)
Provide third line technical support to IT staff and service desk - knowledge sharing
Install, administer and test software upgrades within area of responsibility.
trouble shoot support of Microsoft applications
support web-based applications
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
Automation of manual processes
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Grade 12
Relevant recognised ICT certification or equivalent diploma
+3 years relevant experience
ITIL Foundation
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as SYSPRO support consultant
Minimum of 3 years working SQL experience
Minimum of 3 years Financial Industry Experience
Min 2 years’ experience on Windows server (2003/2008) administration
Experience in the following areas will be an advantage:
o ERP Systems
o TMS Systems
o HR Solutions
o SDLC
o IIS
o Multi-Tier Applications
o SCOM

WORKING CONDITIONS
Will be required to work long hours where necessary.
