Job Description:

The Software Tester's core responsibility is to work with the Quality Assurance and Development team to develop and maintain the company’s testing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting with test activities where required
• Develop and maintain test plans and test schedules
• Work closely with the Software Development Team
• Track and maintain defect lists and aid development teams to aid resolution
• Implementation of test methodology and processes
• Report directly to the QA and Development Manager

Skill set requirements

• Ability to convince others of the right course of action
• Challenge workflows and business processes for improvement
• Ability to write clear and concise test steps and reports, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to work independently and take ownership of problems
• High level of initiative - Preferable
• Passionate and self-driven - Preferable
• Very good attention to detail - Preferable
• Work well under pressure and deadlines - Preferable
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years’ experience and knowledge in different software tools, techniques and Operating Systems to deliver quality applications
• Proficient in the software environment as well as
Office suite and mind map tools
