Our clients offering software solution to the Financial Services Sector based in the JHB CBD is looking for a Head of Operational Delivery to be responsible for the operations of the PSO payment and settlement systems and services to the South African NPS under the governance of the SARB.

Job Description:
• Provides superior service in the leadership, management and support of the organisation operational environment and uncompromisingly adheres to SLA’s in order to maintain organisational trusted reputation within the financial industry.
• Collaborates with other organisation’s departments to optimize service delivery.
• Ensures timeous and accurate escalations and reporting on processing outages to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Take responsibility for managing the operational relationships and processes with PASA and industry stakeholders regarding escalation and industry outages.
• Ensure accurate and valuable statistics, analytics and operational reporting is provided to relevant stakeholders as agreed and required.
• Analyses the organisation’s business operational requirements in order to understand them clearly and formulates appropriate solutions that meet the business requirements.
• Evaluates the status of the Operational processing, security and risks on a regular basis and ensures that the necessary processes and disciplines are in place.
• Create and update the PSO Operational strategy to ensure delivery on the strategic business priorities.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Matric.
• Related post matric qualifications, Business Degree.
• Relevant Post Graduate Qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in leading an operations function within a bank or payments processing company.
• Experience in banking or payments environment is preferable.
