Qualifications / Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree / IT Diploma or equivalent
• Oracle Certification a big PLUS
• 4+ years of experience in development and support of Oracle applications
• Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Forms & Reports
• Experience supporting custom development, Oracle package applications, and interfaces to existing applications
• Strong problem solving, analysis, design and development skills.
• Experience in supporting Retail applications is preferred
• Experience in Oracle Retail Suite Applications (e.g. RMS, ReSA, RPM) IS A BIG PLUS
• Experience in writing and interpreting both high level and detailed designs.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Ability to navigate technical issues and evaluate risk.
• Experience with Database concepts, and ability to read data models
• Experience in J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, & Web Services is a plus
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for working with all levels of the business and the development team to establish, practice, promote, and enforce sound design and coding practices
• Provide support for problem resolution of existing applications and requests.
• Work with all key team members to include Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Testers, Architects, DBAs & Management to design, build, unit test and support Oracle applications.
• Ensure work meets functionality and quality expectations within given timelines.
• Deliver technical design solutions and reports according to agreed standards that address the business requirements within the agreed timeframe
• Design, develop and test reports
