Our client based in Woodmead islooking for a seasoned Senior Network Engineer for a 3 months contract to go permanent depending onperformance. The incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, reporting andsupport of the core LAN and WAN infrastructure in a dynamic environment.Minimum of 5 years working experience as aNetwork Administrator in an enterprise environment;

Avaya, Cisco CCNA, CCNPqualification with working experience and knowledge of routers and switches;

Analytical and problem solving skills;

Good working experience and knowledge ofMPLS, VLAN’s, GWAN’s, VPN’s STP, Static Routing, Application Load Balancers, WANoptimizers, NAC, Wireless Networks, network design and implementation;

Evaluationand deployment of new technologies and solutions, based on customer requirements;

Working experience and in a Microsoft Network environment;

Working experienceand problem solving on Nortel, CISCO, WAN Optimization and Load Balancing networkingtechnologies;

Knowledge of network related security risks, vulnerabilities andattacks;

Working knowledge of network based intrusions and protocolabnormalities;

A working knowledge and understanding of Telecommunication and VOIPsolutions;

Ability to determine problems and to coordinate hardware and/orsoftware solutions;

Ability to Analyse systems growth and provide capacityplanning projections;

Manage and monitor network security for LAN/WANendpoints;

Providing standby and after-hours support for any networkingissues;
Daily maintenance of assigned service desk calls.
