Qualifications and Experience The applicant should meet these requirements:
• Matric or Grade 12 equivalent
• A three year tertiary qualification in the field of Computer Science, Software Development or Engineering, e.g. B.Sc, B.Ing, B.Com or National Diploma in IT would be highly advantageous
• At least 5 years' software development experience using Java
Responisibilities
The Incumbent will be responsible for:
• Back-end software application development using J2EE technologies
• Knowledge of EJB3, JAX-WS, JPA, Hibernate, JMS, Eclipse IDE, JBoss (Application Server), ESB (Servicemix, Camel), Continuous integration and Unit testing will be advantageous
• Analysis and design
• Implementation of solutions
• Coaching and mentorship of junior developers
