A MAJOR financial services organisation, on a Local and worldwide scale, seek to employ a Head of Cyber Security to join their exciting, innovative and diverse business based in Rosebank. The business is a leading provider of integrated financial services and the most recognised brand in the Australian financial services industry. You will lead the Cyber Security within the Technology and Operations Team, and support the business by developing and implementing best practice risk frameworks including policies, standards, processes and reporting that are appropriate to the market in which they operate in. Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline will be preferred
• CISSP and/or CISA qualification desired
• Strong technical knowledge of systems, networks, and security controls
• Ability to drive and manage own workload and operate within defined deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to develop acceptable solutions for the business
• Seasoned understanding of Technology risk management principles and knowledge of Operational Risk and Compliance frameworks

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for Cyber Security capability, ranging from planning and development, and the collaboration with all stakeholders in DPG
• Responsible for embedding security controls into the SDLC methodology
• Determine and develop process for collecting meaningful metrics and reporting to align with regulatory requirements and governance frameworks across the region
• Working with the Technology Risk APAC to develop a common and consistent measurement of threat and risk
• Support the management of security & technology risks within the Bank
• Stay current with incident response, digital forensics methodology, the associated legal requirements and threats applicable to the South Africa, and participate in the development of these security capabilities across APAC

Reference Number for this position is GZ39545-2017 which is a permanent position based in Rosebank offering a cost to company salary of up to R1.5 Mil negotiable on experience.
