Experience and QualificationsAt least 5years’ experience in an IT related position
3+ years in IT Operationsmanagement in a Service Management environment
2+ years in either a problemmanager or incident manager role
Previous experience in terms of financialservice, contact centre, datacentre/web hosting, service provider and technology environments willbe beneficial.
Solid understanding of and expertise in the following:Infrastructure, Cloud, IT Service Management, Service Delivery, Jira
Goodunderstanding and industry experience in the context of Service Management (e.g. governance, bestpractice frameworks, standard operating procedures, business continuity, etc)
ITSMor relevant aligned certifications will be beneficial (i.e. ITIL, Cobit).
Principle Duties andResponsibilities
Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of both theincident and problem management process
Producing management information,including KPIs and reports
Monitoring the effectiveness of incident and problemmanagement and making recommendations for improvement
Developing and maintainingthe incident and problem management system
Managing and maintaining the majorincident process and associated procedures
Reviewing and auditing theprocesses
Ensuring that all IT teams follow the incident and problem managementprocesses
Ensures quality of Known Error record and the KnowledgeDatabase
Escalate risks and issues to the ITSM Manager
