Job Functions Strategy Industries FinancialServices Specification Strategy Management and Analytics
•Monitoring collections strategies to ensure performance is achieved according to theanticipated outputs
•Making recommendations regarding the performance of the implementedstrategies
•Tracking and recording strategy performance for future reference
•Facilitating weekly progress meetings
•Building models to predict and manage thebehaviour of books
•Modelling collections data in order to design empirically basedcollections strategies to maximise collections at minimal costs
•Converting company datainto workable management information
•Writing SAS code or use Excel functionality toassist in the analytical function

Administration
•Administering the SAS programs on the SAS server to ensure that the programs runsuccessfully
•Facilitating and chairing meetings around the strategies (recommendationsand performance)
•Gathering feedback from operations on the performance of the strategyand making recommendations to improve where possible
•Conducting weekly meetings onperformance of book

Reporting and Presentations
•Generatingmanagement information reports as and when required from raw data
•Interpreting theoutput of the reports and making sound recommendations
•Providing monthly feedback reporton collections strategies and performance on books
•Compiling information in order topresent the findings of the analysis in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders

People and Performance Management
•Providing support andassistance to staff by conducting team meetings to address issues raised
•Providingperformance feedback to staff
•Managing staff time and attendance and taking appropriatedisciplinary action where necessary
•Conducting performance reviews on staff as perorganisational requirements
•Managing staff’s performance against definedperformance measures and communicated targets
•Developing skills and knowledge of staffthrough assessing performance and providing constructive feedback
•Identifying skillsgaps and providing targeted coaching and training in order to improve performance
•Implementing performance management action where staff are not performing to agreedstandards
Requirements •Grade 12 
•Degree withCommercial, Mathematics or Statistics Major
•SAS qualification i.e. SAS certification
•Highly proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Excel
•3 – 5 years’experience in a Senior Managerial role
•5 – 7 years’ experience in a DataAnalysis environment
•Proven record of building, implementing and maintaining scorecardssuccessfully within a financial /credit environment
•Proven Modelling skills
