QUALIFICATIONS: Matric
Tertiary education, preferably a BCom or BSc (Computer Science)
Oracle certified or applicable oracle courses
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum of 4-5 years experience with Oracle APEX, PL/SQL and data-intense systems/workflow
Minimum of 4-5 years Systems Development experience specifically in transactional systems
Minimum of 4-5 years Oracle PL/SQL experience
Experience with Java and web development
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ,AJAX & jQuery
Report writing experience beneficial
Training industry experience beneficial

Ability to work well under pressure, especially in maintaining a balanced and logical approach

Good work management skills - Able to multitask and work without supervision
Coordinate with other technical areas to plan work and timelines

Proficient in writing stored procedures, packages and functions using SQL and PL/SQL
Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems, and revises computer programs, systems and related procedures to process data.
Designs application framework based on requirements documentation utilizing Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, PL/SQL.
Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis, and submits recommendations for solution.
Prepares program specifications and diagrams, and develops coding logic flowcharts.
Encodes, tests, debugs and installs the operating programs and procedures in coordination with computer operations.
SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning experience beneficial
