Qualification:Matric and a relevant Engineering or Computer Science Degree or Diploma
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in systems administration and development
Experience in:
Background in Operations, System Administration, Site Operations or DevOps
Ability to reviewing T-SQL code written by other team members
Application of security patches
Knowledge on upgrading SQL Servers and applying service packs
Strong TSQ such as stored procedure, functions, triggers and focus on performance
Windows skills in Windows and Windows Server

Job Description:
As an experienced DevOps DBA Engineer, you will monitor database performance, optimize database performance. You will need to be able to exercise capacity planning, manage a highly-scalable and high-availability platform, prepare deployment code and ensure strict security compliance. Your responsibilities will also include the follow up of design documentation where required, be able to ensure high availability, run disaster recovery strategies, and ensure database servers are up-to-date.
