Technical Skills to include:
• Provide ideas to the business using existing or related technology
• Identify and research technologies which could improve the software
• Identify opportunities for growth or improvement and propose potential solutions
• Prove value through prototyping and demonstration to interested stakeholders
• Guide projects being executed in the various product areas to ensure solid design and implementation and compatibility with the greater system. These are projects which are of significant complexity; fundamentally change systems or integral parts thereof and; have a high risk profile
Education and Experience:

• 10 + years’ commercial development experience.
• Expert level JavaScript and Angular JS skills
• Must have architected (including build, continuous integration & automated deployment processes) a working real world system.
• Has experience in providing mentorship and guidance to developers.
• Demonstrates deep understanding of different software development processes/SDLC (Agile etc.) and strong software engineering principles (design patterns, unit testing, continuous integration etc.).
• Demonstrates knowledge in a broad range of software technologies rather than specialization in one particular technology (multi -language, multi-stack). Undergraduate diploma / degree (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Actively seeks out and employs experts in high value product or technology areas to provide solutions in a system wide or company-wide context
• Identifies new areas for learning about software development, architecture and technology
• Provide expert advice on issues pertaining to database system optimization, operation and management to database administrators and other operations personnel
• Research and identify new technologies and techniques to exploit the information potential of our data stores
