Role details:
- Installing new hardware ( servers, printers, computer work stations etc. )
- Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords
- Overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
- Installing ant-virus protection- Fixing network faults
- Technical support for people using the network
- Training staff on new systems
- Day to day admin and monitoring of network use
- Planning future improvements
- Suggesting IT solutions to business problems
- Making sure all IT meets industry standards
- Supervising junior staff
- Being able to GRN stock
- Being able to conduct a stock take, with the operations manager, accounting manager and customs manager to put inventory in line with the system ( i.e. stock control )
- Stock movements from warehouse to stores
- Synchronise stock, procurement, GRN and sales within the network
- Being able to do multi location communication via projection
- Being able to draw stock reports, MIS reports, accounting reports and HR reports
- Being able to give IT support to all departments when necessary
