Key ResponsibilitiesProvide the architecture definition, integration and direction with regards to Information Architecture techniques and tools such as common information models, data modeling, data sourcing, transformation and enrichment, master data management and modeling tools such as ARIS, ERWIN and Rational Data Architect.
The Lead Domain Architect defines the technology solution for a specific Domain Area project and ensures that it is designed and constructed to meet current and anticipated future information and technology requirements.
Responsible for obtaining in-depth understanding of the information architecture, designing enhancements to the common information models, providing overall data strategy, recommending highly secure, cost effective, high performing technical solutions, and providing technical leadership to the development teams and management on a range of topics in his/her domain area.

Requirements, Experience and Attributes
The ideal candidate for this post should have the following:
Qualifications and skills:
BSc in Computer Science or BSc in Engineering
Exposure to enterprise application integration and experience with messaging technologies
Expertise in system modeling (UML) and architectural trade-off analysis.
Familiarity with Zachman Framework, TOGAF
Expertise in Enterprise Architecture tools advantageous
Experience:
7+ years of experience in the development of distributed, mission critical applications in heterogeneous environments/architectures for multi-user systems, primarily in the areas of logical and physical data modeling and data strategy implementation.
5+ years of technical leadership and architecture experience
Experience with object oriented analysis, design and development and defining common information models
5+ years experience in the telecommunications industry designing OSS/BSS applications, especially in the areas of mediation, retail and wholesale billing, customer care, contact centre and customer relationship management.
5+ years experience working in networks for the telco industry advantageous
