Role details:
Our client based in the Southern Suburbs is looking for a SharePoint Administrator to support the SharePoint collaboration platform including the corporate intranet and various SharePoint portals.

Qualifications & Accreditations
• Relevant 3 year Information Technology Degree and or Diploma
• MCITP in Sharepoint Administration is advantageous
Experience & Skills
• 2-3 Years of SharePoint administration experience
• Must be able to install, configure, and maintain ISS
• Experience with Windows Server 2008 administration
• Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012 (as required to manage SharePoint)
• Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization) is required
• Experience with backups, restores and disaster recovery concepts, especially related to SharePoint
• Experience in writing and executing PowerShell Scripts
• Solid acquaintance with windows server, security delegation, SPNs, storage components is advantageous
• Knowledge in a scripting language like Powershell, VBScript, WSH
• Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server Related CPU memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention
• Expert experience in implementing operational automation
• Strong knowledge of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration and patching
• VMware will be advantageous
