Duties:Project responsibilities:


· Perform detailed reviews of BRS, FS, TS, test plans, test cases and test strategy

· Review from a functional and non-functional point of view

· Perform black and white box testing

· Perform security testing on web based, application and installer software

· Write test plans and test cases from functional specifications and from information gained from other stakeholders

· Ensure that the software conforms to requirements, specifications, and other sources of specifications

· Use internal bug tracking and test case management system to record bugs

· Using risk analysis to select and write regression test cases and automate select ones

· Analyse and provide security test cases for security risks

· Working closely with development team leads on large development projects, ensuring the highest quality outcomes

· Generate reports and provide regular status updates to Test Team Lead and Product Manager

· Contribute to test and quality assurance group processes and standards

· Follow and abide to department policies, but also promote change where necessary
