A reputable IT company based in Rosebank is looking for an Operational Project Manager.

Requirements:
2-4 years experience within a similar position· Working experience in a software/IT industry will be an advantage
Have a strong ability to conceptualize and follow through on projects from start to finish
Strong technical skills
Able to produce documentation at a high standard in both content and grammar/spelling
Highly organised, logical and structured individual

Duties:Pre-Sales Product Support
Playing the role of product specialist for Account Managers during the sales process.
Identifying the clients requirements and assisting the AM to apply company solutions.
Business Analysis
Understands business issues and data challenges of the client's organisation
Works with the client to elicit and understand the business requirements and converts the requirements into manageable deliverables
Responsible for writing functional requirements, project specifications and process design
Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutionProviding in-depth product knowledge and making recommendations on a proposed solution

Project Management
New project set up for all projects at a complexity level 3 (defined as a project/CR that requires specification and integration development·
Handling change requests at a complexity level 3
Defines the functional requirements specification (as an extension of the BRS) and scope of projects· Knowledgeable reference for the development team during the course of the project
Regular quality control checks to ensure that the project remains in line with the supplied specifications Manages change control process during project build and ensures that all documentation is kept up to date
Manages and enforces project schedules and budgets
Notifies the relevant development team of any discrepancies (deviations from the specification) and follows up on the updates
Ensures that both the Client and the Account Manager are kept up-to-date on the progress/status of the project
Participates in the prioritization of projects together with the Development pod team lead and the Integration manager
