Role details:
They are seeking an inspired and dedicated Cloud Security Specialist who is passionate. Has the ability to identify potential cloud related security threats. Collaborate with the relevant IT, Operational and Business stakeholders to implement counter measures to restrict cloud related security threats. Uncover vulnerabilities, such as unsanitized inputs that are susceptible to code injection attacks. Requirements: 7+ years of IT Security experience
2+ years Cloud experience
Pen testing and security/vulnerability assessments experience
Strong technical background and knowledge
Technologies Required:
Knowledge of Cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
Technical Cyber-attack frameworks
Nice to haves:
Security related certifications (e.g. CCSP, CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GIAC)
Mobile and Web application pen testing
Responsibilities:
Provide continuous assurance on the security setup, configuration and logging requirements for the companys cloud service providers.
Facilitate the implementation of cloud security services countermeasures
Analyse cloud related threats from internal and external sources.
Monitor and report on effectiveness of key cloud security countermeasures.
Deep technical understanding in Linux and Windows operating systems
Attempt to breach a number of application systems (e.g. Frontend/backend servers, API)
