Role details:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or a related discipline (NQF Level 6).
• 7+ years’ experience in a complex and large project involving multiple integration technologies.
• 4+ years’ experience with integration and/or web service development.
• Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem solving skills.
• Extensive experience with core enterprise software applications, including major CRM & ERP applications
• Clear understanding of MDM and other data management techniques.
• Demonstrated experience with .Net Framework, SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET, web services, and XML Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
• Demonstrated skill in preparation and maintenance of implementation documents.
• In-depth expertise in database and development tools (Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Workflow Builder Forms, J2EE, JDEV, OA Framework and Concurrent Manager).
• Good understanding of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and Business Process Execution Languages.
• Proven experience in linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.

• To lead the Bank’s IT application development, integration, support and partnering with SAPO IT.
• Overall responsibility for the development, design, and implementation of Postbank integration architecture, together with effective governance to ensure that integration and support is professionally managed and meets the organisation’s needs.
• This involves identifying potential strategic IT programmes and providing assurance that initiated IT projects and programmes deliver solutions that are aligned with the future vision.
• Developing and managing the Integration Centre of Excellence, working in collaboration with IT, Architecture, and Service Delivery colleagues to guide and develop best practices for developing applications aligned to Postbank Technology integration approach.
• Ensure the effective and efficient management and control of functions/resources in accordance with the stipulations of the Public Financial Management Act, fraud prevention and risk management principles, legislation, company policies, processes, regulations.
• Manage performance of direct reportees ensuring agreement of annual goals, measuring performance against agreed goals and dealing with non-performance accordingly
• Talent management of direct reports, including career development and paths for all staff
