Our large, well established company has a position for a Senior SQL DBA. You will be responsible for mentoring Junior DBAs and proactively achieving a secure production database environment.Purpose of the role:
- Capacity management
- Continuity and security management
- Understanding the Client’s needs
- Staying abreast of technological developments in the industry and recommending roadmap for upgrades
- Configuration Management
- Change Management
- Release Management

Qualifications, experience and skills required:
- Matric
- Microsoft SQL DBA certifications
- 3 – 5 years proven experience in administering MSSQL databases.
- Knowledge of ITIL and Quality Management principles
- Strong leadership Skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
