This International freight forwarder has been in South Africa for more than 30 years and offer entire logistic solutions to their clients. If you come from a medium to large sized forwarder, and be able to demonstrate your ability to meet targets, and provide information on your key wins and achievements in current or past roles then this is an excellent opportunity for you.

To be successful in this role you need to have a solid proven background in freight forwarding sales, as well as experience of managing the complete sales pipeline, from generating leads, booking appointments, presenting to clients, compiling tenders, on-boarding business to the operational team and managing the account and building relationships. You will also be responsible for up selling to existing clients and maximising business opportunities and ultimately revenue & profit.

Qualification:
Matric
Tertiary qualification in logistics / supply chain preferable

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years sales experience required within the imports/ exports (logistics) industry.

Skills Required:
Knowledge and understanding of the forwarding and clearing industry
Strong communication & relationship building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Negotiation skills
