The incumbent will be responsible for providing Strategic Leadership and Management of theProduct portfolio. Analyse markets and competitors and develop product portfolio strategies. Tasksinclude, but are not limited to targeting, competitive positioning, analysis of externalenvironment, aligning with technology, developing future product/market roadmaps and coordination ofproduct platform strategies and product line strategies together with relevant stakeholders. Definethe strategic product portfolio direction and objectives to ensure execution of the businessstrategy and develop and manage the Product strategy and roadmaps and alignment across businessunits. Establish and maintain partner relationships, to grow Telkom's presence in the market as acommunications business partner of choice in line with Telkom Business Strategic Objectives. Developand maintain 5 year product plans for product journeys under scope of the portfolio. Support thedevelopment of the business plan aligning with the Telkom Business strategy. Responsible forprofitability of productsin the portfolio and also maintain close relationships with the market and stakeholders forawareness of market needs. This includes identification of appropriate markets and development ofeffective marketing strategies and tactics for reaching these strategies. Research and identify newtelecommunication opportunity areas, monitor growth in existing areas, forecast demand trends,develop procedures, methods and statistical modelsto provide a comprehensive micro demand forecasting function in support of Telkom Business,Consumer, Sales, Network Development Planning and Network Support Resource planning.
