Requirements/Qualifications:• Qualified Millwright / HT Electrician (Section 13)
• 5 year experience in a Sawmill environment
Key Performance Areas
- Knowledge on PLC and VSD’s (OMRON, Siemens & SEW drives)
- Heavy current installations (380V)
- OHSAct electrical installation regulations & SANS 10142
- OHSAct electrical machinery regulations
- 22/11kV plant and reticulation- Budgeting and budget control
- Maintenance systems- Must understand OMRON PLC and Siemens S5 & S7 PLC
- Must be able to understand set up and optimise VSD parameters (SEW euro drives)- Support technicians with fault finding
- Control CoC standards with all installation work
