Role details: 
      Position Purpose:
To supplement the existing oracle development and support team working withtechnologies such as: • Oracle Application Express • Oracle Forms and Reports •Oracle PL/SQL (Oracle database 9i, 10g, 11g) • Oracle E-Business Suite 11i • Oracle BIPublisher • Oracle XML Publisher • Oracle 11i workflow- - - - - - - - - - - - --
Minimum Requirements:
• 3 Years’ experience working as an Oracle developerusing some or all of the above technologies. • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL procedurallanguage is essential.
Key Deliverables of the Role:
• Issues are identified andresolved pro-actively; where issues are identified re-actively these issues are analyzed andresolved or escalated to the appropriate resource timeously. • Development done on any changerequests or new development adheres to the standards which are defined by and adhered to by theOracle team. These standards relate to development standards and documentation methodology used
Key Activities of the Role:
• Development and support of new and existing Oracle PL/SQLprocedural logic • Development and support of new and existing Oracle Application Expressapplications / reports • Development and support of new and existing Oracle Forms andReports
Position Competencies :
Technical : • Strong analytical and problem solvingskills. • Methodical approach to issue resolution, gap analysis and new development, using thedocumentation standards adhered to by the Oracle team. • Understand and analyze businessrequirements from a functional perspective and efficiently translate these requirements into therelevant technical documents. • Identify and resolve key issues related to code changerequirements, bug fixes or new development requirements. • Actively involved in knowledgetransfer both within the oracle team and to the BeST users.
