If you have worked as an Operations Manager in a Telco environment, dealing with a large number of transactions and employees, then this is the role for you. You will be responsible for billing, fault logging and ticketing, reporting, IT infrastructure management and implementing and managing SLAs.Purpose of the role:
- Managing the IT operations of the division
- Ensuring client bill runs are performed to SLA in terms of completion time and billing accuracy
- Ensuring that all active subscribers are billed, and that the CRM and billing base in in sync with the on network base
- Managing trouble ticketing and help desk, ensuring all problems are solved within SLA
- Managing the servers, applications and Databasestorage elements in use by the business
- Ensuring adequate access control policies are in place and are adhered to
- Ensuring adequate back up and DR policies and processes are in place
- Ensuring adequate system monitoring (24/7) is in place to monitor system performance and to detect any potential failures in advance.
- Ensure detailed SLA's are put in place
- Manage relationship with external suppliers
- Staff management

Qualifications, experience and skills required:
- Relevant 3-year degree or diploma
- Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience preferably having worked in an operational billing mobile telco environment
- Solid business acumen
- Results driven
- Decision maker
- Solid verbal and written skills
