THE ORGANISATION
GreatSoft designs, develops and provides ongoing implementation support and consulting for Accounting, Database and Professional Practice Management solutions. We have been a leading supplier to the Southern African Accounting profession for over 20 years. Our current solutions are developed using Microsoft technologies. The applications are developed in Visual Studio to run on A Windows Platform or IIS using a SQL Server database.
THE POSITION
The role of GreatSoft Offsite Consultant involves membership of a professional services team supporting the GreatSoft range of products. The primary focus would be supporting clients using the GreatSoft suite of products by replying to incoming emails and telephone calls.
The role necessitates an individual who is a strong team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Has the ability to troubleshoot, analyse and resolve client issues timeously and has the able to work under pressure tackling multiple tasks.

SKILLS REQUIREDTHE PERSON:
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric)
- Tertiary qualification – Diploma, Bcom or Bsc degree will be an added bonus
- Computer literate – (SQL server Added bonus)
- Accounting knowledge (Added bonus)
- Strong Communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak read and write fluently in English and/or Afrikaans
- The ability to work effectively with clients and manage difficult client requests
- Tackle more than one issue at once and handle pressure.
- To be able to prioritise activities
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to manage responsibility in an independent manner
- Good organisational & time management skills
- Mature attitude to developing communication with colleagues and clients
- Strong problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
ANALYSIS AND SUPPORT:
- Support
- Troubleshoot, analyse and resolve client issues timeously and follow up on matters escalated to others.
- Provide advice, solutions, hints, tips, techniques and “work-arounds” to the client.
- Communication
- Provide regular updates on the status of problems and enhancements that have been logged by the clients.
- Ensure that the request for changes and software bugs are valid.
- Communication with client and team members and updating Team members with best practice, tips & tricks.
Salary will be based on qualifications and past experience.
