Role details:
The Installation Technician must satisfy the following minimum qualifications:
Grade 12
Computer (literacy essential)
Point of sale experience and other IT Qualifications will be advantageous.
General understanding of computer hardware.

Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions: Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about Hardware and Software.
Gather customers information and determine the issue by evaluating and analysing the root cause of the problem.
Teach clients how the software works
Stay with the client from open to close.
Follow standard processes and procedures;
Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications;
Ensure that the client is trained to spec before leaving the store after 3days
Escalate challenges experienced to the team leader as soon as it happens.
Report back regularly to team leader as required
Stay up to date with software/hardware changes/enhancements.
Skill and Attributes

Conditions:
As an Installation technician, working times will vary as you will be working late hours as well as weekends, the company runs 24 hours and 365 days a year, and according to hours of trade of our clients.
Must have a reliable transport for the shift work.
Must be able to work for long periods of time.
Position requires patience.
