Role Purpose:To build and maintain sustainable and profitable sell Side Trading business solutions in South Africa by maximising business value and ensuring business continuity and relevance.
Responsible for reaching goals and objectives related to sales, productivity, profitability and market penetration within the Sell Side Business area of IRESS.
Accountabilities & Deliverables:
Responsible and Accountable for the Sell Side Trading business in South Africa
Keeping abreast with developments in the markets in which we operate from a technology perspective, with a keen interest and affinity for technology.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and strategic direction, for which we can deliver solutions and products into.
Acute understanding of the Southern African Trading environment.
Prioritising Development team goals & deliverables.
Signing off proposals relevant to business area.
Sign-off of billing for products within this business area.
Interaction with Marketing as a means of communication with clients on new features and functionality.
Ensure that strategic goals and objectives set for the year are carried out and that business is aligned with strategic direction as set by senior management along with business owners.
Understanding of the competitive landscape.
Managing clients and internal stakeholders.
Tracking business and delivery analytics, and reacting to these accordingly.
Key Relationships
Maintain relations with Sales & AM, Support and Implementation to ensure that customers are being serviced to the highest possible levels.
Work closely with Product Owners & Development Leads to ensure steady and quality product delivery in line with customer and internal objectives
Core Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
? BCom IS/Informatics, BSc Computer Science or similar qualification.
? 5+ years’ experience in Financial Markets with an integral understanding of trading.
