Datacentrix is an integrated,service-orientated ICT systems provider that operates across the entire information value chain. Thecompany is currently looking for an exceptional Heat Administrator and this comes with a lot ofpressure at times

Responsible for the provision of day-to-day Heat administration and support in a largecorporation with a multiple Heat environment, including resolution of Heat problems, data backup andrestore, and the production of Heat performance statistics.  Includes the installation,configuration, upgrade, administeration, and monitoring of Heat Modules and associated softwareproducts, in support of operational systems and the development environment.  Ensures dataintegrity across multiple modules and ensures consistent data structure, data recovery, maintenance,data integrity, and space requirements for physical database are met through implementation ofpolicies, procedures, and standards relating to database management.  Able to interrogatedatabases using an appropriate programming / query language.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Analyse options, risk, and impact to business processes and recommendations
Analyzebusiness requirements by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analyzing theinformation and prioritizing the requirements to gain understanding of the business needs.
Ensure that all calls are assigned/ reassigned timeously and resolved within Service Target.
Assist 1stLine Support ITSM and relevant departments when required, to get requests/ incidentsresolved on time.
 
Meeting objective and taking responsibility, apply BestPractice and Standards to proceed
Provide governance and stewardship in order to providedirection, focus and set priorities.
Implement ITIL best practices for Service Support andService Delivery
Maintaining an effective Service Level Management (SLM) process by definingSLA, OLA and UC.
Updating the existing SLA, OLA or UC when required Evaluate and coordinateprocess enhancements
Grow and Implement Service Request Management. Enable the IT customersto define offered services, publish those services in a service catalog

Understanding and experience with ITIL (IT InfrastructureLibrary)
Experience in coordinating and managing tasks, and small projects
Proactive,flexible attitude to work with a willingness to constantly review and improve skills
Abilityto learn new solutions, services and technologies through self-study (on the job and externally)
Very good analytical skills with the ability to convert business requirements into operationaldeliverables
(functional requirements) to meet business objectives
Excellentdocumentation skills, in particular, functional requirements, test cases, system user
documentation, processes and procedures and presentations
Communication skills: writtenand verbal with good interpersonal skills
