Technology Advisory’s Technology Enablement (TE) service network takes a risk-based approach to business processes, systems integrity, and authorisations to fully understand an organisation's risk and control tolerance, and balance that against established organisational control objectives and integrity techniques.
Our SAP professionals provide control design and implementation services during process change and software implementation projects we help our clients get the most out of their SAP systems.

Demonstrate in-depth understanding of process risks and controls which mitigate risk and help ensure related process objectives
Design and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
Understand and provide advice on project, business and information technology management processes to mitigate risks
Actively participate in decision making within the engagement and the team. Understanding the broader impact of those decisions.
Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to exceed their expectations.
Business Development - Manage and grow appointed client portfolio, identify and build relationships with key decision-makers within clients
Produce proposals that demonstrate to decision-makers KPMG’s ability to meet their business needs
Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services
Participate in and actively support mentoring / coaching / people development relationships within practice
Supervision of junior team mates, reviewing their work, providing support and sharing knowledge.
Working as part of team, conducting reviews of clients’ SAP systems, analysing company’s business processes, finding system exceptions, etc.
Advising on management information requirements in the context of the business risks.
SAP systems review – testing of controls, highlighting of potential systems risks and recommending solutions.
Preparation of management letters (reports) as well as presentations highlighting the results of our reviews and the impact of our results on their business.
Project management abilities and experience.
Engagement planning and management.
Manage budgets and timelines on assignments to improve engagement profitability.
Critical Technical Skills Or Competencies
Experience in ERP systems audit and assurance Manager (7+ years)
Controls implementation experience in SAP
Strong background in and experience in one or (preferably more) of the following is required:
Access control software, such as SAP GRC
Security and authorisation implementation orauditing techniques
SAP control analysis and/or implementation in medium to large client environments
Specific experience of SAP processes and controls, primarily in one or more of the following processes -procurement, sales, finance, costing, materials management and production
Analysis of master data or set up of management of master data
Data Migration and/or Data Governance
Major SAP project management or project assurance
Post SAP system implementation reviews
Experience in and understanding of business and process risk, as well as designing and implementing controls to mitigate those risks
A good understanding of general financial and business issues
Working experience with SAP systems (this could be as a user / functional consultant / implementation consultant
Ability to track down process / system errors to root cause and advise on improvements / solutions.

Qualifications And Experience
Minimum of completed B-degree (B.Com or BSc.) from a recognised University
CISA an advantage (not essential)
SAP Module Certification in the following modules preferable:
SAP MM
SAP Finance
SAP Logistics
SAP GRC (Access and Process Control)
SAP exposure required, specifically in either: process design, authorisations, project implementation, data migration, or project risk and controls management.
Supervisory / management experience
5 - 10 years’ experience in SAP system implementation, system analysis and business process analysis.
Experience in the Public Sector, Financial Services (banking), Mining or Telco industries an advantage.
