Exciting growth role for a Senior Developer keen on running a production support environment. This client are a technology vendor to several blue chips, they are looking to bring all of their development in-house starting with their support services. Your role would be to run a small team of Developers focusing on maintaining, supporting, extending and integrating the current product.
You will also act as the technical brain of the organisation which will include advising business on the technical needs of the system.
They’re after the following skills / experience:
Someone with a Production support mentality – you enjoys the challenges of achieving incident free days;
Time spent acting as a Senior member of a production support team within a large, complex environment;
Experience coding in C++ important;
Experience coding in RDBMS technologies important.

Additional useful experience:
C# development experience;
MS SQL Server development experience;
Oracle – integration to, rather than specifically coding with PL/SQL.

Permanent; Johannesburg; negotiable up to R50k ctc per month
