This global freight forwarder is looking for a Business Development Manager to reinforce their sales team by bringing in a sales expert who has a proven track record in freight forwarding sales and management.

Qualification:
Matric and relevant Sales Qualification


Experience:
3-5 relevant sales and project management experience.
Knowledge of freight forwarding full spectrum products


Skills Required:
Attracting new customers and following up on leads generated internally or externally;
Determining potential customer needs and matching company services to clients’ needs;
Compiling sales proposals and service levels agreements in consultation with GM Sales and Operations;
Managing customer expectations and satisfaction throughout the sales process;
Providing the best customer service to new and existing customers at all times;
Achieving assigned sales targets consistently;
Good interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills
Ability to work with diverse customers
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to travel extensively and to work extended hours
Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment
