Responsibilities
Maintainthe Microsoft collaboration facilities uptime :
Monitoring the Services
Reviewing,testing and applying patches to applications.
Resolving crisis, problems andissues
Completing daily Tasks/Incidences, including user support
Keepingskills up to date
Following ITIL and best practicecodes
Skills/experience required:
Fiveyears’ experience supporting Microsoft collaboration services.
Certification in theMicrosoft Technologies (MCP)
Knowledge and experience in some of the followingtechnologies:
- ActiveDirectory / replication / GPO’s
- SCCM
- SCOM
- MIIS / Forefront IdentityManagement 2010
- ISA
- Exchange 2007/EdgeServers
- Citrix
- VMWare
- Forefront ClientSecurity
- SharePoint
Good interpersonal skills are a necessity. Similarly arewell developed telephone support skills essentials.
The person should be able to workindependently, without supervision, under pressure and to deadlines.
The person must have ananalytical nature in order to determine the underlying reason for a particular problem.
Theperson must be able to drive and have a valid driver’slicense.
