Job Description:•Manage the provision of IT support and desktop services (third level support) to users to ensure that logged calls and requests are addressed within SLA standards and ensure maximum access to IT system.
•Implement and monitor of IT strategy and policies to ensure that the IT support the Authority’s strategy and the day-to-day operations.
•Identify and analyse the current and future information technology needs of the organisation and develop, recommend sourcing, implementation of most suitable and appropriate technological solutions and systems to meet those needs capital.
•Assist in compiling, monitoring and controlling the implementation of capital and operational budget in the IT unit.
•Oversee management and safeguarding of assets and equipment in IT unit to ensure that all assets are used and managed effectively and efficiently.
•Manage the smooth running of backup system in accordance to the backup policy and procedures.
•Manager and empower staff in the IT unit to ensure that they meet their objectives in line with broader objectives and requirements of the organisation.
•Develop and regular review IT policies, standards and guidelines and that they are implemented.
•Produce management reports and accurate IT related statistics as and when required so that management have access to real time IT on an ongoing basis
Required Qualifications and Experience:
•National Diploma/ Degree in IT/ IS
•At least seven years in IT Operations, Security/ Risk and Network Environment
•4 year must be in managerial level
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux Server
•Solid knowledge of good practices in IT support and security
•Knowledge of IT security governance (Cobi, ITIL) framework
•Prepared to be available 24/7/365.
